Where is the hotel located?
The Hotel Chalet Val de Ruda is situated at Baqueira 1500, a very short distance from the TSD Bosque chairlift and the Baqueira gondola lift (200 metres). The entrance is at the junction of the C-28 and C-142B roads (access to Beret).
What are the nearest airports and railway stations?
The nearest international airport is Toulouse-Blagnac (approx. 2 hours 15 minutes). The airports at Tarbes-Lourdes, Lleida-Alguaire and Barcelona-El Prat are also accessible, as is the Lleida-Pirineus AVE station. We offer a private transfer service upon prior request.
What facilities are included?
All rooms feature a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a fridge, a safe and a fully equipped bathroom. We provide cots at no extra cost (subject to availability).
How many rooms does the hotel have?
We have 31 exclusive rooms, decorated with wood and fine materials to provide the comfort of an alpine retreat.
Do you have family rooms or connecting rooms?
Yes, we offer options for families and group stays. We recommend contacting the hotel directly to arrange the best layout to suit your needs.
Do massages need to be booked in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking treatments before your arrival or at check-in to ensure availability.
Does the hotel have ski storage?
Yes, the hotel has ski storage facilities within the hotel building and, for added convenience, also offers ski storage and lockers at the Baqueira SKI Store at 1,500, next to the forest chairlift and the gondola lift.
Is there a transfer service to the slopes?
For your convenience, and despite being very close to the slopes, we offer a transfer service to the 1,500 gondola lift.
What facilities does the spa have?
Our wellness centre includes a leisure pool with water jets and a bubble massage bench, a Finnish sauna, a steam room, an ice fountain and sequential bithermal showers.
Are pets allowed?
We accept dogs weighing up to 8 kg upon prior request and subject to a daily surcharge. They are allowed on the hotel terrace
Do you have car parking?
We have free outdoor parking for guests and a limited number of spaces in the covered car park, which must be booked in advance.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4.00 pm and check-out is by 12.00 noon. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in the luggage room and relax in our lounge whilst we prepare your room.
Is it possible to request a late check-out?
Yes, subject to hotel availability and subject to prior confirmation at reception during your stay.
Is reception open 24 hours a day?
Yes, our reception team is at your service 24 hours a day.
Do you offer a laundry service?
Yes, we offer a laundry service on request.
Is there a children’s menu?
Yes, our restaurant offers dishes suitable for children and we have high chairs in the dining room.
What types of accommodation packages do you offer?
We offer Bed and Breakfast and Half-Board options. Our breakfast buffet includes local mountain produce, homemade pastries and hot dishes prepared to order.
Do you offer options for coeliacs or special dietary requirements?
Yes, we offer gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Please let us know when you make your booking.
